Rockhopping in South Wales
Designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty the Gower peninsula is just waiting to be explored & rockhopping is a great way to do it.
Make your way along this dramatic coastline, scrambling over & under rocks, as you discover facts about the sea & it's inhabitants. You may catch a glimpse of a Grey Seal basking in the sun but it's the world beneath your feet you'll find most fascinating. Take a closer look at the micro-environment of rock pools. It may look tranquil compared to the sea, but life in there is very harsh.
