Key Stage 3 Activity Package

We run a range of courses suitable for Key Stage 3 Groups (11-14 years old).

Young people at this age are beginning to find their feet and explore the outdoors. Our Key Stage 3 outdoor courses are designed to help them with this. We can run a range of curriculum linked activities & sessions such as:

• River Studies
• Geology Studies
• Map Reading Skills
• Coastal Habitats

Our main focus within our school outdoor education programme is adventure through learning. So as well as taking on new challenges & having fun, each activity will promote team building, introduce new skills & give students a better understanding of the outdoor environment.

Whatever the experience or ability our highly qualified instructors will encourage students to take on new challenges within a safe & secure environment.

Below is a course that we find works well with this age group.  We tailor each activity course to the groups demands, but find it useful to give some guidance and ideas.

This price includes accomodation at our 3* Activity Centre, catering, activity instructors, safety equipment & insurance.

Transport is available from as little as £6pp pd, although many of our groups choose to bring minibuses.

Through our Activities we aim to help students achieve a range of learning outcomes across a number of subject areas, such as geography, science, citizenship & P.E. For most, this is a new & exciting learning environment which offers a variety of character building challenges.
