Gold Duke of Edinburghs Award on Horseback

Sbri Cymru has run a Gold Duke of Edinburghs Award practice expedition on Horseback this week in the Brecon Beacons. 

Five girls decided that they didn't want to complete their expedition on Foot, and opted for Horses instead. 

The girls took part in our Duke of Edinburghs Award training programme teaching them the skills that they will need on their full Gold Expedition in a few weeks time. The girls learned essential skills on the Expedition Training Programme such as Campcraft, Cooking, Navigation, First Aid, Emergency Procedures and more.

The girls are hoping to complete their Gold Duke of Edinburghs Award Expedition in two weeks time in the Brecon Beacons.
