The History of Sbri Cymru

Sbri Cymru was established in 2007 as a Spinout Company from Swansea University, in conjunction with the Knowledge Exploitation Fund. Since then we have been closely linked with the Research and Innovation Department at the University.

In 2009 we formed a strategic Partnership with Dulwich College, a large private college based in London. We run and manage an Activity Centre for the College as part of this Partnership.

All our Staff are passionate about the Outdoors. This sets us apart from other companies who just employ Seasonal Summer Staff. We pride ourselves on the Quality of our Training, Activities & Courses. Most of our Instructors are involved at some level with the Civilian Rescue Teams. These include Search and Rescue Dogs, Mountain Rescue Teams & Cave Rescue Teams. We apply the knowledge and experience gleaned from these to make our Activities as safe as possible.

We pride ourselves on the safe and fun approach that we apply to working with groups of young people.
